Suba license lost and need replacement?

I got my scuba license many many years ago when I was 13. Im now 45. I've been diving since, but lost my license many years ago. I currently let my buddy rent my gear under his license.
I've tried to find a duplicate or research how I can get it replaced without retaking the whole course. Anyone have a link or know how I can get this done.
I know the name of the instructor and the business, but they have gone out of business.
There has to be a record of my license somewhere I can get it replaced.

How come I had this very weird and abnormal dream of myself being rescued by my friend ?

I'm an 20 year old straight guy who enjoys time after college classes going out dressed as a girl with my best friend Rebecka. I often go out dressed as a girl in either a floral colored dress with a brown hair wig and makeup and 6 inch black patent platform stiletto pumps or an mini skirt with an button up shirt with my wig and my 6 inch black pumps. But I've been getting a lot of death threats by strangers in public and my friend just told me to ignore which i did and It let me to have a weird dream. I dream that i was kidnapped while walking in a shopping mall street after shopping and i got kidnapped and tied and putted in a trash bag and then the kidnapper along with 4 other guys took me out of the bag while they arrived at a river. The kidnapper in the dream told me he hates trannys and he makes a living by terminating each of them and he then laughed and look at me and said it looks like you don't want to lose your heels while you are falling to your death so he ordered those guys to duck tape my heels onto my feet like a strap and he said you won't be able to swim now even if you try the mono fin swim. He then threw me into the river and I started to drown until my best friend Rebecka showed up in a wet suit with scuba gear underwater rescuing me to safety. Then I woke up from there. Does the dream mean that I'm going to die or something ??? If the whole dream was real and he duct taped my heels onto my feet, would I be able to swim at all ??? What did the whole dream mean anyway ??? Can anyone please help me out ??? I'm really scared and I actually turn on my burglar alarms when I'm at home now. Rebeka Is my friend who is a straight female and she really likes me as a friend.

I was dreaming of offshore oil rigs and discussing the relative benefits of high tide earth jetties to deliver oil as opposed to low tide ones ( only available at low tide )

All this was total nonsense as such jetties do not exist !

Scuba gear - What's the better quality or what should I know before buying?

I have qualified for my open water . I have my wet suite and fins, snorkel and mask, weights etc. What I don't have is my own bcd and regulator.

Now these things are pretty expensive and need to be well looked at before just randomly buying anything. So my question goes out to experienced Scuba divers who can give me a tip or three on what the best regulator is for me to get. Is it really only down to what I can afford and what feels comfortable in my mouth or are there other things I need to look out for?

I cannot hold my breathe under water for an hour at a time (like a whale), I cannot fly over the Atlantic ocean (like a bird), I cannot run on water (like a Jesus christ Lizard), I cannot run 70 mph (like a cheetah), etc. etc. etc. - You would think that if we evolved from that muddy little pond into what we are today, that we would have been smart enough to keep some of those wonderful traits like an ability to fly, run fast, etc. --- But no, we are so moronic that we would rather evolve into the boneheads that we are, which forces us to have to create scuba gear (to swim under water), create planes (to fly in the sky), create boats (to travel upon the water), create sports cars (so we can go fast), etc. etc. etc. - After billions of years of going through evolutionary phases, we have surely had some of aforementioned traits available to us at some time or another (since we did come from the water...and from monkeys...and whatnot) ...right? So why are we so darn stupid to reverse the process via technology...only to try and regain those traits that we already had previously? Are we really that dense? Or is it possible that everything was DESIGNED with its own special traits ... some we have ... some we don't???

1.) Dry suits do you stay warm in them.
2.) Why do divers use nitrous oxide in some dives can you please explain this.
3.) Is there anywhere on the internet where i can find lots of information on diving.
4.) Is it safe to buy second hand scuba gear.
5.) How do they measure a dry suit as i am very skinny etc and wondering would it be safe to buy a second hand one as i don't know how to measure them.

6.) Also what is the difference between oxygen and nitrous oxide
