Question #1:

was this gal fond of me?

I went into a local scuba gear shop interested in finding out about the equipment and whathaveyou and the girl who works the place was havin a chitchat with an older gentlemen about her skydiving trip, the guy leaves and then i ask for her about the many various types of stuff in the store. She gave me her full undivided attention, however what i noticed was as she talked to me she kept twirling her hair and smiling. she didnt do this for the old man that was in the store and im wondering if she was being slightly flirty about it or if maybe it was nervous habit? this is just out of pure curiousity
ok afte reading the responses, the girl was the only one in the store and i did make apparent to her i wasnt looking to buy anything due to budget restrictions. i was just browsing and the store is a privately owned one. im 21 and she looked to be a couple years my superior. not sure if that makes anything different

Ive wanted to be a Navy SEAL since i was 12 years old and Im qualifying for a Challenge contract now and I have been wondering what kind of weapons the SEALs are using presently specifically I would like to know if they phased out the Mk43.mod0/M60 for the M240 completely and are they still using the M4A1 or if they switched over to the HK416. Question #8:

scuba diving and sea sick and mad husband?

I went on a scuba diving trip with my husband we have both been certified for a few years now. I did OK going out. I took some dramamine. I think I took to much and had a reaction because when I was throwing up I got very disoriented for a moment which was scary because I was hanging off the side of the boat. If I had not come to I would have been woman overboard My husband was under the water diving he had no idea how sick I was until he came up. He was nice to me and packed up all my gear I could not move until the boat docked I was dry heaving it was horrible. I found a bathroom on the boardwalk that had a very nice bathroom with a semi warm shower so I rinsed off and changed my clothes I knew he wanted to go eat so I was just going to go and sit and wait for him to eat but I was able to pick at some food and get some liquid down. It was around midnight before we got into bed we got about 5 hours of sleep and were suppose to go on another boat dive well needless to say I was soooo not up to it. He got really pissed off with me. The radar was looking horrible anyway I suggested he go and let me stay at the hotel he insisted we go straight home and he has been pissed at me every since. I cannot tell you how ugly he has been to me I was in tears at breakfast he stormed out of the cafe and told me to stop making a scene. I got in the car as he started in on me again I finally got real ugly with him and told him in no certain terms to leave me alone. If he had left me in the room and go on and done his diving things would have worked out just fine instead he turned into a jerk and ruined the day for both of us. Am I out of line?

Question #11:

Should I buy my own scuba gear?

I am looking into buying an Oceanic scuba gear package for $1750. I have been a certified diver for two years now but haven't done as many dives as I would have liked to. This is mainly because of the extra expense of hiring scuba gear, it can change a $50 dive into a $100 dive! I am not sure whether to buy my own Equipment, or save my money (as i am still in school and have uni/car to pay for soon). I would really want my own gear and i have the money, but it is a lot of money. Should I get the gear? Or is there a cheaper quality package i can get locally in australia? Thanks.

Question #14:

So much tension between the family due to what my son have been doing!?

A couple days ago, my husband was trying to find a tool to change his car oil. Since my son is the one who pretty much own every tools because he learned back in freshman that if he take in thing and fix it up, he can make profit from it. So he got to point where he’d do anything from fixing furniture, repairing electric items, and other things. He start to buying all kind of tools that he end up pretty much own every tools we have here and the garage.
To his horrific he found a scuba hidden away especially since he has no lesson in scuba or anything that we know of. So he digs around a bit more and discovered a couple fake ids that look so real, bunches of knives, and two antique pistols.
When my son got home, we confronted him about everything. We found out he learned how to scuba on his own and do it couple time already, made fake id so he can work toward sky diving certificate and isn’t far from receiving it and wanted to get helicopter piloting license but cannot afford it, and he got antique pistols because he liked them and have no intention on using them out of fear of breaking it.
We know that he work a lot, often he’s in garage almost the whole time he’s home and would work until well past midnight then get up at 4 in the morning and make about $500 to 700 a month when school is in on average and anywhere between 1,000 and 1,500 a month since school was out. Also we know he shops very careful and always buy used items and fix them up if possible instead of buying brand new things.
We’re proud of him for that, but now that we found out he have been making fake id, buying antique pistols, learning sky diving, and going scuba on his own, this really scared us.
My husband wants to take pistols away until he turn 18, take the knives and scuba gear away, and let him get the certificate in sky diving then take the id away. He wants to have closer supervisor over what my son is doing.
I on other hand want to just get every tool out and sell them and keep only what my husband will need and use.
I feel like my son should lose the opportunity of having all those things and doing what he was doing to make money. But my husband says he doesn’t want to deal with my son asking for money all of the time since thing has been really tight for a while and that my son was just being a kid and could have done much worse if he wanted to, so a warning is enough.
This has been causing a lot of tension between everyone lately and my son is clinging to my husband’s side which isn’t helping at all! I don’t know what to do.

Question #15:

Where to buy my scuba equipment?

I recently got into scuba....I absolutely love it.
Got my certification yesterday and am looking into buyin my own gear.
Ive been lectured TONS by the instructors at my dive shop about the dangers from buying gear online.
But the truth of the matter is, I cant afford the prices in the shop!
Is it really as bad as they say it is to buy from a site, say Click Here ?
Thanks tons!

ALSO!!
any recommendations on gear for a beginner is much welcomed!
thanks you!

Question #16:

should i spend all my money on scuba diving gear?? Or should i save it for the future?

I don;t know whether to spend $2000 on Scuba Gear, or save it for the future for things like uni or a car? I have been thinking about it for a while and just need an outside opinion. Thanks
another thing is that i really enjoy scuba diving and i really want my own gear, and i don't want to continue waisting my money renting gear whan i can have my own. If i have my own then i can go out with the dive club for about $20, instead of $100 with the local store. I really am not sure.

Sci-Fi Horror Movie Help?

The movie was shown on the Sci-Fi channel years ago. I don't know if it was just for those few years, but hopefully someone will remember it.

Anyways, the only scene I can remember is the man diving into the water with scuba gear, and swimming around the dead bodies of the women he had put in the lake.

Thank you in advance!

Question #19:

Is he an inconsiderate jerk, or is this all in my head? 10 points for any help :( ?

My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship since we both went back to our home states after meeting on vacation. I am deeply in love with him.

Okay, here is the problem. Firstly, he always blows me off when I want to talk on the phone or skype. Always without fail. We talk on the phone maybe once every 6 weeks. Seriously. The rest of the time it's texts and facebook.

I have not seen him for almost a year. I work constantly, but I always make time to talk to him. I never go out or get to have fun because I am working to save money to move for college, and also to visit him. He tells me he can't visit me because he has no money. We have been fighting a lot because of the distance, so I would say seeing one another is pretty important.

So, following his speech to me about how he is mean to me (one thing we argue about) because he's under so much stress from not being able to afford school and not having the money to see me. Of course, I understand. Two weeks later, he enrolls in a $1,000 scuba driving course.

I would understand this if perhaps scuba diving was a lifelong dream of his. But in the 4 years I have known him, he has never said anything about it. Never been to a body of water, hasn't even been in a pool. I take it in stride and I don't say anything. A month goes by, he is going to the swim shop every week buying gear and all kinds of stuff. He also buys concert tickets and things like that. I still say nothing.

Then he and his friends go on a 2 day trip to some diving spot. I get peeved, say nothing.

He just had a 4 day weekend off and spent 3 of those days on vacation 4 hours from his house (I live 8 hours from him) at another dive spot.

I am mad and upset and I tell him everything I feel. He gets mad and defensive (like usual) and the conversation ends with him saying he will change. He doesn't. 3 days later, he has blown off another phone call, and as I just find out- he's going on an $800 dive trip to the Bahamas in October.

Also- we were supposed to go to a concert together last year, and he promised he wouldnt go without me, but when I couldnt make it- he ignored me all day and then 5 minutes before it started he sent me a text that he went with his friend. He also once left me for his ex girlfriend. The list goes on and on.

I want to dump him but I feel bad, because I love him so much, I feel a huge sense of loss about what might have been. What do I do?
